About DATE
DATE is a leading international event providing unique networking opportunities, bringing together designers and design automation users, researchers and vendors, as well as specialists in hardware and software design, test and manufacturing of electronic circuits and systems.
In 2021, the conference will take place as a virtual conference online. The 24th DATE conference and exhibition will be held virtually from 1 to 5 February and is chaired by Professor Franco Fummi, Università di Verona, Italy.
DATE 2021 was intended to be hosted in Grenoble, France. Grenoble has a great number of assets such as its manufacturing companies, renowned higher-education institutions and internationallyrecognised research laboratories that make it the one of the largest technology and research centres in Europe.
Yet, as many other conferences DATE 2021 had to change plans due to the continued erratic development of the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic. Taking into consideration the restrictions of worldwide travelling as well as the safety and health of the DATE community, the Organizing Committees decided to host DATE 2021 as a virtual conference that gives as much of a real conference atmosphere as possible.
