DATE is a leading international event and unique networking opportunity for design and engineering of Systems-on-Chip, Systems-on-Board and Embedded Systems Software. Since the selection of venues Dresden (2010-2012-2014) and Grenoble (2011-2013) has been a great success, the conference will again take place in Grenoble for DATE 2015.
The Alpexpo Congress Centre will host the five day event from 9 – 13 March, 2015. It is located in close proximity to central Grenoble and provides a modern, well equipped location for DATE.
The city of Grenoble, which is surrounded by outstanding natural beauty of the Alps, has a strong economy linked to the research and innovation activities performed by leading national and international large companies such as STMicroelectronics, IBM, Schneider Electric, France Telecom, Thales, Hewlett Packard, Soitec, Xerox and others with more than 38,000 people in micro and nano technologies (24,000) and 14000 in embedded software. It is. the second largest research centre in France with 15 research centres and universities (CEA-Leti – 1,800 researchers, TIMA, Verimag) and more than 100 startup companies located in the area in addition to 117 companies – 81% of which are SME’s.
The 18th DATE conference and exhibition is the main European event bringing together designers and design automation users, researchers and vendors, as well as specialists in the hardware and software design, test and manufacturing of electronic circuits and systems. It puts strong emphasis on ICs/SoCs, reconfigurable hardware and embedded systems, including embedded software.
