UNIVERSITY BOOTH 2012 โ€“ Announcement, March 13-15


The University Booth at DATE is announced. Universities and public research institutes are invited to demonstrate their hardware platforms, prototypes tools and pre-commercial results. In addition, we also want to encourage R&D projects to present their outstanding solutions at the University Booth.

Contributions to the Exhibition Theatre


Exhibition Theatre

An open discussion forum in the midst of Europe’s largest electronic system design exhibition. The programme combines expert panel sessions and customers’ testimonials. The aim is to offer exhibition visitors a fresh view on the key industrial and business issues in the electronic systems design market. Submissions are invited from industry consortia, technology groups,
standards bodies, or any person with opinions on future industry trends by Oct. 10, 2010:

DATE 2011 Exhibition: European Projects presenting at DATE


DATE 2012 is offering a special, good value package to European Projects/Clusters who wish to show their work and results during the DATE exhibition. Please see below for further information on participating in the European Project booth for 2012. Book before November 1, 2011 to receive a 5% discount.

Webinars and Virtual Presentations

DATE 2012 Exhibitors can book 1-hour slots during the Conference to run webinars and virtual presentations through the DATE website.

DATE 2012 Exhibition

The DATE 2012 exhibition will run for 3 days in halls on the ground floor of the exhibition centre,  located close to the conference rooms and adjacent to delegate lunches. The halls benefit from natural daylight and are largely pillar free.

DATE 2012 arranges a number of special events and features on the show floor to allow busy conference delegates more time and justification to visit the show floor. An opening night drinks reception, extended delegate coffee breaks, show-floor catering areas and an exhibition theatre of industry themed presentations. All these activities are intended to make DATE 2012 a more attractive place for industry professionals to do business. In addition there is the European Projects/Clusters which provides a showcase for their work and results and the European EDA Village provides a focus for European EDA SMEs & Start ups.

DATE 2012 is offering the following stand options to make exhibiting easy to plan and more cost-effective to budget.


Option 1: Table Top Display (3m x 1m)

9 sqm (3m x 3m) € 4,000 + VAT

Option 3: Bespoke Booth (price on application)

If you wish to build your own booth, European Conferences would be happy to provide you with a quote based on your space and equipment requirements. Please contact Claire Cartwright to discuss your options.

Option 4: Start-Up Booth (3m x 2m)

DATE offers a great value introduction to the exhibition for start-up companies. This is a 6 sqm standard shell scheme booth (option 2 above).

Qualifying conditions apply for start-ups:

  • Your company should be no older than 5 years old
  • Your company has not exhibited at DATE previously

Total Cost: € 2,000 + VAT

Option 5: European Project Booth

DATE offers a good value booth package to European Projects/Clusters who wish to show their work and results during the DATE exhibition.

  • Small cubicle, carpeted
  • White hard-coated wall panels, on 2 sides
  • Reception counter & stool
  • White nameboard
  • 1 kW electricity connection
  • access to shared meeting space
