Billions of devices connected to the internet is not too far from today's reality. Such an Internet of Things offers advanced connectivity between built-in sensors, field operation devices, and cloud systems, covering a variety of applications, including medical, home automation, energy, transportation, environmental monitoring, etc. This results in several new approaches and innovative methods that work together to enable the network of smart devices.
